Antonio P. "Tony" Salazar

Tony Salazar brings over 25 years of commercial banking, transactional and work-out experience to our firm. His practice areas include banking law, commercial financing transactions, loan restructurings and work-outs, real estate, and general business law and transactions.

Before joining the firm, Tony served as the Deputy General Counsel to Provident Bank where he was responsible for, among other matters, providing legal support for the Bank’s commercial activities, legal and regulatory advice to senior management, and serving as the Bank's representative on the Maryland Bankers Association Government Relations Committee.

Previously, Tony engaged in private practice in the District of Columbia representing foreign and domestic financial institutions, insurance companies and individuals on banking, regulatory, work-out and business matters.

Tony has been active in the Howard County and Greater Baltimore communities where he is a 1999 graduate of Leadership Howard County and on whose Board he served as Treasurer. He served several terms on the Boards of JREF and Centro de la Comunidad, Inc. and served as President of each organization. Tony also serves on the Boards of the Centennial High School Boosters and the Soccer Association of Columbia-Howard County. He is fluent in Spanish and is a member of the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association, the Baltimore Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association.
