Chuck Borek receives recognition from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
Howard County, MD – Davis, Agnor, Rapaport & Skalny, LLC (DARS) announces that Chuck Borek, Of Counsel, has received the 2011 Outstanding Discussion Leader of the Year Award from the American Institute of CPA’s (AICPA).
The AICPA Outstanding Discussion Leader Award recognizes the discussion leaders that achieve the highest overall instructor knowledge and presentations scores leading AICPA seminars nationwide. “I am honored to have been recognized by AICPA for my seminar performance,” explained Borek. “The AICPA fills an important role for accounting professionals by providing training, professional skills, programs, and other services to CPA’s all over the country.”
Borek conducted almost 100 seminars last year throughout the country on topics ranging from advanced tax strategies to payroll taxes, benefits, and 1099 reporting. He also recently recorded an ALI-ABA webinar on basic accounting issues for lawyers and has been asked to develop course content for Lawline.com, a premier provider of continuing legal education in New York. Borek has been representing tax clients in Maryland and throughout the United States for almost twenty years. His practice area includes all matters related to state and federal tax issues, including representation of taxpayers before the IRS and in the U.S. Tax Court.
