Cybersquatting
Cybersquatting refers to the use of someone else's trademark in an internet domain name. Our attorneys assist clients who are confronted with domain name disputes such as cybersquatting, "typo-squatting," domain hijacking, and domain transfer frauds. We pursue relief through ICANN's Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) arbitration process or by court action under the Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act (ACPA), as appropriate. We also provide counsel regarding internet domain names and their usage.
