Jeffrey T. Agnor

For 25 years, Jeff Agnor has dedicated his practice to representing entrepreneurs, businesses, investors and non-profit organizations. Jeff counsels clients in all phases of their business life, from start-up through acquisition. This includes assisting clients with contracts, employment matters, private offerings, business sales and acquisitions, intellectual property, loan transactions, real estate matters, and stockholder disputes. Jeff also assists clients with the complex legal and regulatory issues associated with raising capital and documenting agreements among owners.

He encourages business clients to begin planning exit strategies early so they are prepared when opportunities arise. Jeff assists business owners prepare for eventual acquisition, and he helps family businesses navigate the often sensitive complex issues associated with business succession.

Jeff volunteers his time and expertise in the areas of entrepreneurial development and education, economic development, environmental initiatives and support of the local arts. He serves as Chair of the Advisory Board for the Howard Community College Center for Entrepreneurial and Business Excellence. Jeff is on the Board of Directors of the Howard County Green Business Council and Chairs the Advisory Board of The James and Anne Robinson Foundation. Jeff is a Past President of the Howard County Arts Council and has served on the Advocacy Board for Rep Stage. He also served for seven years on the Board of Directors of Leadership Howard County. Jeff is a member of the Business Law, Labor & Employment Law and Intellectual Property Sections of the Maryland State Bar Association.
