Nora H. Murphy

Nora H. Murphy

After graduating from law school, Nora served as the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Susan Souder in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County for two years. As a law clerk, she saw a variety of complex civil matters as well as criminal cases. It was there that she discovered her passion for observing, researching, and drafting opinions and orders in family law cases. Nora is an attorney in our Family Law practice, where she helps clients to resolve a range of difficult family matters including separation and divorce, the disposition of marital assets, child and spousal support, and child visitation and custody.  Prior to joining Davis, Agnor, Rapaport & Skalny, LLC, she was an associate at the Law Offices of Alisa G. Cummins, PC.

During law school, Nora participated in the Domestic Violence Project clinic while completing an internship with the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia in the Domestic Violence/Family Law Unit. She also participated in the Family Justice Litigation Clinic as a certified law student, providing representation to clients for domestic violence and custody matters in the D.C. Superior Court.  In addition, Nora served as the Production Editor for The George Washington Law Review. In 2015, she was honored with the Laurence E. Seibel Memorial Award in Labor and Employment Law.

In her spare time, Nora enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with her husband, three cats, and two dogs.
