Paul G. Skalny has been selected by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Baltimore District Office, as the 2018 Maryland Attorney Advocate of the Year.
The SBA Awards recognize outstanding contributions of small business persons and advocates at district, state, and national levels. To be selected for the award, nominees must meet certain criteria by the U.S. Small Business Administration standards; volunteering outside of the business, support and strengthen small businesses, and participate in efforts to improve economic climate for small businesses, to name a few.
“Having worked with Paul for many years, I can’t think of anyone who is a more passionate and effective advocate for small business,” said Jeff Agnor, partner of Davis, Agnor, Rapaport & Skalny. “This is a well-deserved recognition, and a proud day for our firm.”
The Maryland Small Business Week Awards Program is celebrating its 34th Anniversary of the event. Awards will be presented to winners at the ceremony taking place on June 7th.
