Senior Partner Michael W. Davis Appointed to Maryland Sustainable Growth Commission by Governor Hogan

Columbia, MD - Davis, Agnor, Rapaport and Skalny, LLC, one of the region’s leading law firms, today announced that Governor Larry Hogan has appointed Attorney Michael Davis to the Maryland Sustainable Growth Commission.

Established by the Maryland General Assembly in 2010, the Sustainable Growth Commission makes recommendations on growth and development issues and celebrates smart growth achievements with an annual awards program. Commission members, who represent local and state government, business and nonprofit organization sectors, consider ways to help implement laws and regulations concerning Maryland’s growth and development.

“I feel fortunate, through this opportunity, to be able to participate in discussions around solving our growth, development and infrastructure issues on a regional basis,” Mike said.  “The continuing growth of population will stress every aspect of our quality of life in Maryland, and creative, forwarding looking solutions based on the regional needs of our residents will be critical to preserving what makes Maryland such a special place to live, work, play, raise a family, and retire.”

As a Senior Partner at Davis Agnor Rapaport & Skalny, Mike represents individuals and families in all phases of estate planning, wealth management, probate and trust administration, asset protection, charitable giving, and medical decision-making.  In addition to being an active member of the Howard County legal community, he has held many civic leadership positions, and he has received a number of awards for his community volunteerism.  Mike’s complete bio can be found here.
