Transactional / M&A Attorney

Davis, Agnor, Rapaport, & Skalny, LLC is a prominent AV-rated law firm based in Howard County, Maryland, and is looking for an experienced attorney for its Business & Transactional Practice Group.  The successful candidate will work closely with well-regarded business and transactional law partners in a growing and busy law practice in one of top legal corridors in the United States (Washington-Baltimore), and will receive a great deal of responsibility, including client contact, with tremendous opportunity for personal and professional growth.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned practitioner who possesses the following skills and experience:

• Five or more years of experience in business/commercial transactions, including complex mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
• Structuring and negotiating a variety of transaction types, with an understanding of the tax implications of each type.
• Experience in private equity, private securities offerings (including for employees and investors), and venture capital experience is a plus.
• Excellent drafting skills, particularly with respect to correspondence, purchase agreements and related documents.
• Team focused and hard-working professional, with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage client relationships.
• Portable practice is a plus, but not required.
• Must be a member of the Maryland Bar (Virginia, D.C., and other Mid-Atlantic states a plus).

The ideal candidate is a seasoned practitioner who possesses the following skills and experience:

• A minimum of five years of family law experience, with familiarity negotiating and litigating in the areas of separation and divorce, alimony, property division, child custody and support, and post-judgment matters.
• Ability to handle complex family matters on behalf of clients through trial in various jurisdictions throughout Maryland.
• Must be a member of the Maryland Bar (Virginia, D.C., and other Mid-Atlantic states a plus).
