Davis, Agnor, Rapaport & Skalny, LLC (DARS) represented MCB Real Estate (MCB), a privately-held national commercial real estate investment management and development firm with nationwide holdings and more than $4 billion in assets under management, in its acquisition of Austin, Texas-based Epic Real Estate Partners, a privately-held firm with investments in grocery-anchored retail assets across the U.S.

The transaction includes the operation of 15 grocery-anchored shopping centers totaling just over two million square feet of retail space across 10 states strongly concentrated in the Sun Belt and Midwest markets, with a total portfolio value exceeding $575 million.
